The OCZ Performance Series PC2400 memory

Introduction

In two preceding articles, we took a look at a variety of mainstream DDR PC2100 memory modules. Our goal was to highlight the importance of using high-performance, high-quality memory modules in order to maximize system performance.

While primarily known in the U.S.A for the quality of its parts, OCZ products are also exported just about everywhere else in the world through TheOverclockerz Store.

Our previous test included a stick of OCZ's "Performance Series" PC-2100 memory. This time around, we'll be reviewing their PC-2400 module.

The only differences between OCZ's PC-2100 and PC-2400 memory modules are that the latter is rated to run on 150MHz buses for 300MHz of effective bandwidth, and that it supports CAS2 latency, whereas the most modules only support CAS2.5.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at the results.

Next: The test setup.
