Technical details

Not much space has been left open around the CPU socket, which prevents the installation of large heatsinks.

The memory slots are located close enough to the AGP port that the retention bar for memory slot 1 will come into contact with the graphics card when installing memory.

Thirteen 2200mfd and eight 1000mfd capacitors have been placed around the CPU socket.

The CPU retention bar is made of metal, so there's little chance of it breaking.

Four fan connectors are included, but only two are controlled by the hardware monitoring system.

Hardware monitoring is controlled by the chipset.

It's possible to manually assign IRQs.

Two thermistors are included, which monitor the temperature of the CPU and the interior ambient temperature of the system.

The Northbridge is capped-off with a heatsink and fan.
