Additional features of the Chaintech CT-60JV motherboard include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS/2 connectors, 2 USB ports, SB-Link, Power Failure Recovery, Suspend to RAM, RX/TX connectors for infrared communication, start-up from the mouse/keyboard/at a pre-set time/from the USB ports, and Over Voltage & Over Current protection for the processor. Trend ChipAway - an antiviral protection agent - is also present, with the optional addition of Twin BIOS technology. Hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperatures, and of voltages is also provided as standard equipment on this PC99-compliant motherboard. Note that the keyboard, and USB ports are also protected by polyfuses, which can reset themselves automatically following a power disruption. An integrated AC"97/98 sound card is also provided, with an optional integrated Creative 5880 audio chipset. Finally, the CT-6OJV has an embedded BIOS flashing utility.

Installation
Installation of the CT-60JV is quite simple. Its jumperless design allows users to skip even the process of configuring jumpers JP14 & JP15, as the default setting allows the system to automatically determine a proper FSB setting in the majority of cases. In short, simply install the board in a casing, plug everything in, and make a quick pass through the BIOS to finalize any adjustments.
The software pack
The installation CD include version 4.20 of the Via 4-in-1 drivers, a software for flashing the BIOS, Adobe Acrobat Reader, a digital rendition of the user's manual, Shepperd 2000, PC-cillin 6, Norton Antivirus, Adobe ActiveShare, Appio, and X-Stop.
The hardware pack
In terms of hardware, the CT-60JV is escorted by an 80-pin ATA66/100 cable, and a disk drive cable.
